LOVE : the final word of November

If you've been here awhile, you are not in the least bit surprised that love is the final word I picked from the book I've been using all month.

Naturally, in my email this morning I received this daily quote:

Being in love is so good for you. Often when people are newly in love, things that have been bothering them for a long time get better. Something wonderful is calling the majority of their attention, so they're holding themselves in a better vibrational place, so the stuff they've been wanting all along can now zoom in.

---Abraham

If someone could bottle the feeling of new love they would be a kajillionaire.

As we enter into the holiday frenzy, take some time to love yourself. Treat yourself to some pampering. Work off stress at the gym. Walk to clear your head. Get on the mat and do some yoga or Pilates. Meet a friend for coffee. Read a book. Catch a season of something on Hulu or Netflix. Listen to some awesome music. Take a ride in the car. Shop at small local businesses. Remember to breathe...probably the hardest of all of these suggestions.

I wish you all a love filled day.

In My Life
Lennon-McCartney
There are places I'll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends, I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I'll love you more

No words in this version.
None needed.
You may cry from the sheer beauty of it.

The words in the heart highlight the challenges of love and the Abraham quote from your inbox highlight the spilling ease of love. It can be a beautiful contradiction.
I hear more and more people these days talk about "love is the answer" from David Arquette to the Wheeler parents and I tend to think I'm not fluffy enough to 'preach love' though I do agree with the idea. I'm a conflicted lover. I'm a hippie republican, a tree-hugging conservative, a cold bleeding heart. But I can't believe I'm saying this, but love actually is the answer.
