Last week, for no apparent reason, I was crying at the drop of a hat, I was a tad cranky, I said "I'm sorry," more than once. I felt like a hormonal wreck and I don't have a uterus. It was a little maddening.

The Suz Crew event was a magnificent evening with much laughter, a little dancing and the selling of many raffles. Kelly has a magic touch with her creative brain! The barn was transformed into a beautiful space where love flowed as freely as the wine. I look forward to sharing the results of the evening; I hope it was a smashing success!

I find on Sunday I am incapable of doing much - especially after a 1am ending of Saturday. It makes it a good day to chill and catch upon months of TV. I know that horrifies some of you, but it really makes me happy. So that's what I did yesterday.

Today looks like a glorious day. I have no reason to hole up inside, so I will get my act together and move - and see Cathy for that biweekly mind dump of everything that goes on in this cranium of mine.

In today's news, I have unearthed the flip flops and yes, I am wearing them to work. It's time.

It's a busy spring day in the area.

• SAT's are being taken across the country - go Bella.
  
• Maddie is celebrating her Bat Mitzvah.
  
• Communions are happening in practically every parish in the area.
  
• Sporting events are being played.
• Weeds are being pulled.
  
• Cars are being washed.
  
• Pedicures are in full swing.
• Hair is getting cut, colored and removed.

Tonight - THIS (look down) is where I'll be. Celebrating the end of winter and supporting one of my personal favorite causes.

I have a friend, Jenn, who is so much fun at a dance party. She has epic dance offs with her kids and as a result, she busts a move like nobody's business. I have tried to imitate her when I am with her and I can't compete. She wins hands down. When I saw the clip from Saturday Night Fever, I immediately thought of Jenn. My goal is to be able to bust a move like Travolta or Jenn.

Afterall, it's Friday.

And so we dance.

Further Updates from her Mama JUST NOW:
Emma is at Blythedale Children's Hospital EVERY day from 9am - 3pm. She has movement is in her left hand and legs - YEAH(!). She still isn't walking, BUT, she is getting there. She has been seizure free since the surgery!

Kelly, Kim, Carmen, Amy, Jake, Steve ~ I haven't had an update as of late, but that doesn't mean we aren't thinking of them.

It feels like we have been living under a gray cloud since October. There have been a few (one or two) glorious days of clear skies and sunshine; unfortunately, they seem to be few and far between.

As a person who really detests being hot, I will take cool for as long as I can. That said, I would much prefer cool under the guise of a blue sky!

All this water means seepage in the magic basement and the great ant invasion of spring. I am able to deal with both much more calmly than I did a few years ago. I am going to take that as an indicator that I am maturing about stuff that I can't control.

I always try to find some sunshine despite the rain, I wish you the same.
