At the end of our retreat yesterday, there was a grab bag. Pick a name, give a gift. I created the framed collage on the Women Supporting Women post to give as my gift to give.
Everyone was so very thoughtful with their gifts and yes, everyone pulled exactly the right name to go with their gift.

It couldn't have been better timed.
I have just a few pages left in my current journal.
I did announce that I was going to write regularly again.
It came with colored pencils and three favorite quotes from the gift giver. Below is the one I read out loud to the group.

There were a number of books exchanged, including two different women, gifting two different Mary Oliver collections. One was the book, "House of Light." The other was the audio book, "At Blackwater Pond."
I thought I had used her quote (look up) on this blog. It turns out it was saved in my "to be used" file. There are NO coincidences. I believe if nothing else this blog has proven this over and over.
