Sweet Sixteen's, dentists, including one who specializes in endontics AKA root canal, new appliances, summer baseball (naturally, I did not get to the first game), mani-pedi (not mine), Tucker to the vet, last full week of school, preparing for Bella going to the Senior Prom on Thursday (parents of girls will understand just how much prep is involved in this), purging stuff, getting different stuff, having breakfast with friends, sharing a glass of wine with a friend, making doctor appointments, laundry, this is some of what I have been up to...just life. I know you all get it.
Updating the calendar took a full two days. I try to color code it so at a glance everyone has a clue who is where at any given time. It is very subject to change.
The end of the school year is now as chaotic as the beginning used to be. It's a different energy though - it's the wind down, the endings, the time to sleep a little later, trips to the beach. It's all good.
And so, on this rainy, not rainy, soon to be rainy again Monday, I remind myself, it's all OK.
