I have always been a creative girl.
I love coloring. I have a set of outstanding markers to make it easy, as well as several different kinds of colored pencils. I get lost in the process and everything else disappears.
If you search "adult coloring books" on Pinterest or in a browser, there are many fabulous pages you can print out and color if you are so inclined. HERE is a link for a bunch on Amazon.
I love dancing. I am not terribly good at it, but I do have fun!
I love reading and I especially love writing. In my youth I wrote epic poetry - OK, I thought it was epic. I don't write poetry so much anymore, but I do enjoy a good ramble of words mashed together into something resulting in a blog piece.
I played guitar when I was a teen and I did write a few songs. I doubt they would ever make anyone click the thumbs up on YouTube but it was fun to do.
When Bella was young, yes, it was me who braided her hair. Now I work in an environment of nonstop creativity.
Over the years, like every. single. person. I know, I have created and recreated my life. Sometimes it has been blissful. Sometimes, not so much.
I have created and recreated my body. Sometimes it has been small. Sometimes, not so much.
I have created a family. I have created an eclectic and amazing and inspiring group of friends. I have created community.
