I had to drop Bella off at the HS at 5:50am this morning. The choruses are heading to Six Flags to compete and enjoy a fabulous day, so I figured while I was up and at 'em I may as well BE up and at 'em. I do like the early morning down there. It is very peaceful.
I have walked at the river quite a number of times this week and here are some of the sights I have seen. I am always on the lookout for hearts and signs of love. (There were hearts in the clouds today too!) I think the graffiti-ed box car is pretty much in your face. I loved the driftwood deer and the rock castle. Each year the sailboats whisper my name. One of these days I will take lessons. It was particularly picturesque this morning.
BOTH of my kids suggested this song for the blog. For the record, neither one of them read it.
(Nikki, please report that I used this song...)
To my heartbeat's sound
We fell in love
As the leaves turned brown
And we could be together baby
As long as skies are blue
