There certain songs that stop you in your tracks. They may take you to a different time and place. They may have a memory attached to them. They may be so beautiful they take your breath away. (Case in point, The Piano Guys, "A Thousand Years" from yesterday.)
For me, my life is a soundtrack.
I love Pandora. Seriously love it. It has introduced me to SO many amazing musicians I would never have otherwise heard of.
My kids like music - which broadens my world pretty radically depending on which kid suggests a song. Justin Bieber vs. Hoodie Allen for instance. (YouTube them, I'll wait...)
I could attach an entire playlist here, but I'll spare you. Let's face it, you can see every song I've put on this blog on Pinterest and most of them at the music tab.
With that said, Mary Chapin Carpenter has two songs that I tend to put on all my playlists. I can't remember when I first heard either of them, but each one of them affected me at different points in my life.
