Yesterday, I cooked, went to the grocery store, filled two cars with gas, had Peter's teen boy car fumigated, I mean cleaned, and played taxi driver.

AMY UPDATE: I just texted Jeff and got the latest Amy news. It turns out the fluid that was removed via surgery on Friday WAS infected. ::: whew ::: Thank goodness for modern medicine, I tell you. She is back in a normal room. She has a wound vac. IF all goes according to plan, the hope is that Amy will go home by the end of THIS week. Let's make that happen, OK?
Last night Amy's daughter Kenzie went to a prom with her friend. But first, they stopped at the hospital to show themselves off to Amy.
After the kids went off to the ball, the adults actually sat together in the hospital room and pretended it was a five-star restaurant and shared a meal together. Amy was thrilled to do something so normal!
The weeks have turned into at least a month that Amy has been living in the hospital. I can't fathom it. We are doing what we can to make the financial devastation less of a catastrophe via this fundraiser. Please contribute what you can - NO amount is too small.
