For as long as I can remember, I have loved to read.
I read very quickly and have awful retention, but I do so enjoy taking some time away from real life to go and be in someone else's. Especially when it's in the pages of a book.
Yesterday I did some necessary errands. It was a beautiful day and I did experience that. By 3:00 I was ready to be in. I sat in my big comfy chair (thank you Stacey), turned a fan on and read a book.
Nothing earth shattering. Just a romance about a prince. (I know, I know, I need to get over that whole storybook romance, but I just can't!)
I ignored my phone and my laptop and simply read. I highly recommend it. Unplug. Sooner rather than later. You'll be delighted you did.
